Gen. Ashraf Atteya<\/span><\/strong>, Aswan governor, <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman,<\/span><\/strong> Aswan university president, <strong>Prof. Mohamed Zaki Al-Dahshoury<\/strong>, dean of the faculty of medicine and chairman of university hospitals, <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Dr. Mohamed Mostafa Amin<\/strong><\/span>, vice dean of the faculty of medicine for community service and environmental development, and <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Dr. Ashraf Ahmed Maabed<\/strong><\/span>, executive manager of Aswan university hospitals.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Prof. Ayman Othman<\/strong><\/span> stressed on the importance of the university\u2019s role in community service and environmental development through its participation in the presidential initiatives, including <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u201cDignified Life\u201d<\/span><\/strong> initiative to develop Egyptian villages. He pointed out that continuing launching of medical convoys is part of its participation in serving local community, through the provision of distinguished services in all disciplines by experts and specialized professors in line with the objectives of the presidential initiative. Other medical convoys will be launched for the various villages of the governorate.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">\u00a0 <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Prof. Dahshoury<\/span> <\/strong>stressed on the importance of highlighting the role of university education in developing society and expanding its knowledge and cultural horizons through the contribution of its institutions in graduating youth who are capable of developing their societies. The convoy aimed at reducing the burden on citizens and activating the role of the university in serving people of the region through integrated convoys to the neediest villages. The convoy concluded its activities today corresponding to December 30, 2021. It lasted for two days and provide free treatment and check-up to the people o<strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">f Gharb Suhail<\/span> <\/strong>and the surrounding areas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">\u00a0 <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Dr. Meabed<\/span><\/strong> explained that the medical convoy specialized in ophthalmology which lasted for two days, checked up (250) cases of which 16 ones were referred to Aswan university hospital for operations vary from cataract and pterygium.
