The convoy checked-up the people of Kobaniya and Benban on the west Nile who were affected by the torrential rains free of charge.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">\u00a0The activities of the medical convoy started from the university hospital, under the auspices of <strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Prof. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar<\/span><\/strong>, minister of higher education and scientific research, <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Maj. Gen. Ashraf Atteya<\/strong><\/span>, Aswan governor , <strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman<\/span><\/strong>, Aswan university acting president , <strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Prof. Mohamed Zaki Al-Dahshoury<\/span><\/strong>, dean of the faculty of medicine and chairman of Aswan university hospitals, <strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Prof. Mohamed Mostafa Amin<\/span><\/strong>, vice dean of community service and environmental development, and <strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Dr. Ashraf Meabed<\/span><\/strong>, executive manager of Aswan university hospitals.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">\u00a0 <strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Prof. Ayman Othman<\/span><\/strong> stated that the medical convoy will conclude its activities today. It lasted for (5) days, beginning in <strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Ezbet Al-Nahda<\/span><\/strong> in <strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Kima<\/span><\/strong>, <strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Al-Shallal<\/span><\/strong>, <strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Al-Kobaneya<\/span><\/strong> and <strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Benban<\/span><\/strong>. The cases that were checked-up in the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Day in\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Benban<\/strong> <\/span>reached 510 in different specialties. The total cases in Southern of <strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Benban<\/span> <\/strong>and <strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Al Ababda<\/span><\/strong> \u00a0reached 1,366 over the 2 days.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">\u00a0 His Excellency said that the medical convoy will conclude its work in the villages of <strong>Kobaneya<\/strong> and <strong>Benban<\/strong> today, it is part of the presidential initiative \u201c<strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Dignified Life<\/span><\/strong>\u201d to serve our families affected by floods, with the participation of the faculty of medicine, the university hospital and Aswan health directorate..<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">\u00a0<span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Prof. Dahshoury<\/strong><\/span> added that there is fruitful cooperation between Aswan health directorate, the university hospital, and the faculty of medicine which plays its medical and social role towards the community and the surrounding environment in light of the heavy rains that Aswan governorate was exposed to and the injury of some people, it was a must to provide medical care to the people of <strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Kobaneya<\/span> <\/strong>and <strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Benban<\/span><\/strong>, who were the most affected. Free medical check-up was provided. The check-up included 18 orthopedic cases, 83 internal medicine cases, 57 dermatology cases, 133 pediatric cases, 25 obstetrics and genecology cases, 20 urology cases, 90 ophthalmology cases, (20) surgical cases were referred to the university hospital, and (62) ENT cases in <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Kobaneya<\/strong> <\/span>village, with free treatment provided.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">\u00a0 <strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Dr. Meabed<\/span><\/strong> indicated that the convoy includes (9) medical specialties, it started since last Sunday in Al- Shallal and Ezbet Al-Nahda regions in Kema to serve the people of Aswan governorate and completed its activities for the people of Al Kobaneya and Benban in the specialties of ophthalmology, general surgery, ENT, orthopedics, internal medicine, pediatrics, dermatology, urology and obstetrics and genecology. 1,113 cases were checked-up in all specialties in Al <strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Kobaneya<\/span> <\/strong>and <strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Benban<\/span> <\/strong>in the convoy\u2019s 4<sup>th<\/sup> day, it concluded its activities today \u00a0in <strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Benban<\/span> <\/strong>with a number of (763) cases.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/med.aswu.edu.eg\/en\/special-units\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #800000; font-size: 18pt;\"><strong>Related Topics<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 Today corresponding to 25th Nov. , Aswan University\u2019s medical convoy continues its activities that began on Wednesday in Kobaniya and Benban.
