{"id":7694,"date":"2021-12-09T08:19:36","date_gmt":"2021-12-09T08:19:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/med.aswu.edu.eg\/en\/?post_type=news&#038;p=7694"},"modified":"2021-12-21T09:06:17","modified_gmt":"2021-12-21T09:06:17","slug":"monthly-scientific-day-of-obstetrics-and-gynecology-department-dec-2021","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/med.aswu.edu.eg\/en\/news\/monthly-scientific-day-of-obstetrics-and-gynecology-department-dec-2021\/","title":{"rendered":"Monthly Scientific Day of Obstetrics and Gynecology Department, Dec. 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">\u00a0 Under the patronage of <strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Prof. Mohamed Zaki El-Dahshoury<\/span><\/strong>, dean of the faculty of medicine and the chairman of Aswan university hospitals, and <strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Dr. Ashraf Meabed<\/span><\/strong>, executive manager of Aswan university hospitals, today corresponding to December 9, 2021, the scientific day of obstetrics and gynecology department was held, under the supervision of <strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Prof. Abdo Said Aitallah<\/span><\/strong>, professor of obstetrics and gynecology in Sohag University and the scientific supervisor on obstetrics and gynecology department in Aswan university faculty of medicine, and <span style=\"color: #800000;\">Prof. <strong>Mohamed Salah El-Din Fahmy<\/strong><\/span>, chairman of the department of obstetrics and gynecology, in cooperation with the department of anesthesia and surgical intensive care. The day was attended by <strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Al-Azhari<\/span><\/strong>, lecturer of anesthesia in Aswan university faculty of medicine. The event was organized by <strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Dr. Mohamed Ali Anan<\/span><\/strong>, lecturer of obstetrics and gynecology in Aswan university faculty of medicine. The day handled several scientific lectures introduced by:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Prof. Abdo Saeed Ait Allah<\/span><\/strong> who gave a lecture entitled: \u201c<span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>genetic basis behind recurrent miscarriage<\/strong><\/span>\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Dr. Ahmed Sameh Mostafa<\/strong><\/span>, lecturer, who gave a lecture entitled: \u201c<strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Dealing with Covid 19 During Pregnancy<\/span><\/strong>\u201d in order to spread awareness about this vital topic.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">\u00a0 The attendees included a group of academic staff and their assistants, obstetrics and gynecology department in Aswan university hospital doctors in addition to the doctors of the governorate, the ministry of health as well as postgraduate students (Masters and Ph.D)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">At the end of the day; the department\u2019s management evaluated the department\u2019s technical and statistical performance to implement continuing medical education policy.
