The convoy began operations on Friday, January 24, 2025, and is scheduled to continue until the end of January.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 18px;\">The convoy included numerous departments, including urology, general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, and cardiology. More than one university participated, including Aswan, South Valley, Sohag, Assiut, and Saudi Arabia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 18px;\">At the cutting-edge of the participants from Aswan University were:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 18px;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Prof.\u00a0 Mohamed Zaki El-Dahshoury,<\/span> Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Professor of Urology and Andrology, and Urethral Strictures.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 18px;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Dr. Ahmed Salah El-Din Mohamed,<\/span> Lecturer of Urology.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 18px;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Dr. Mahmoud Salah,<\/span> Consultant in Anesthesia and Surgical Intensive Care.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 18px;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Al-Dahshoury,<\/span> Dean of the Faculty, pointed out the keenness of the Faculty of Medicine in general, and the Department of Urology in particular, to participate annually in the international convoy to provide medical services to patients in Zanzibar, both children and adults, so that families do not have to endure the burden of traveling.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 18px;\">His Excellency also highlighted the number of surgical procedures performed, which included 25 cases of deformity in infants and 25 operations in adults, including surgeries and endoscopies to remove stones and the prostate.
