Prof. Ghallab added that the festival was held under the patronage of the minister of higher education and scientific research Prof. Khaled Abd Al Ghaffar, the minister of youth and sport Prof. Ashraf Sobhy, the director-general of the universities sports directorate Mr. Ahmed Abd Rabo, the director-general of Aswan University student\u2019s welfare sector Mr. Hatem Yousry Yousef in addition to the director of sports\u2019 activity administration Mr. Ahmed Taky Qasem. The event included several games (five-player soccer, volleyball, basketball, darts, 50m- Kayak, and recreational games). 432 students from 19 faculties and institutes took part in the festival.
