In light of the medical system at Aswan University Hospitals in providing specialized health care to patients, under the auspices of Prof.\u00a0 Louai Saad El-Din Nasrat<\/span> – Acting President of Aswan University, Prof. Mohamed Zaki El-Dahshoury<\/span> – Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aswan University Hospitals, announced that the Department of Neurosurgery, headed by <\/span>Prof. Khaled Ismail<\/span> – Head of the Department, received an emergency case of a patient aged (37) years, who was shot in the head. This shot caused several depression fractures in the skull bones, shattering of the brain membranes, and significant bleeding inside the brain, necessitating immediate surgical surgery to save his life.<\/span><\/p>\n

For his part, Prof. Mohamed Salah El-Deem Fahmy, <\/span>Executive Director of Aswan University Hospitals, acknowledged that the medical team that performed the complex procedure consists of a number of neurosurgical specialists, lead by:<\/span><\/p>\n

Asst. Prof. Ahmed Bakir Saad<\/span> – Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery.<\/span>
\nDr. Hussein Abdel Halim Hussein<\/span> – Resident Physician in the Department of Neurosurgery.<\/span>
\nProf. Ashraf Maabad<\/span> – Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs and Director of the Surgery Hospital, added that Aswan University Hospitals provide specialized medical services to patients in Aswan and surrounding governorates in Upper Egypt, and that the anesthesia process was performed by a distinguished team that included:<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Ayman Mohamed<\/span> – Assistant Lecturer of Anesthesia and Intensive Care.<\/span>
\nDr. Hussein Mohamed Abdel Qader<\/span> – Resident Physician of Anesthesia and Intensive Care<\/span>
\nDr. Sara Ramadan<\/span> – Resident Physician of Anesthesia and Intensive Care.<\/span><\/p>\n

Prof. Khaled Ismail,<\/span> Head of the Department of Neurosurgery, confirmed that the patient is still in the intensive care unit, where he receives medical care and ongoing\u00a0 follow-up after the surgical intervention, and that the medical team stated that the patient’s condition has begun to improve and is now stable.<\/span><\/p>\n
