Today, Thursday, January 30, 2025, the Chest Diseases Department at Aswan Faculty of Medicine, under the supervision of Prof. Shazly Baghdadi<\/span> – Head of the Department and Lecturer of the European and Egyptian Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Council, and organized by Dr. Rabab Adel<\/span> – Assistant Lecturer in the Department, launched the fifth and final course in a series of scientific courses launched by the Department, under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Zaki El-Dahshoury<\/span> – Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, and Prof. Mohamed Salad El-Din Fahmy<\/span> – Executive Director of Aswan University Hospitals, entitled:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00abAdvanced Life Support\u00bb<\/span><\/p>\n

Baghdadi,<\/span> the department’s head, reported that all doctors at the Internal Medicine Specialized Hospital in all departments had undergone basic life support training courses, and “team leader” cadres had been formed for the “code blue team”.<\/span><\/p>\n

His Excellency noted that these seminars, which were held throughout the month, focused on young doctors to provide a complete explanation of the following:<\/span><\/p>\n

Aiding blood circulation.<\/span>
\nEvaluate the patient’s breathing.<\/span>
\nInstalling peripheral cannulas.<\/span>
\nHow to open your airways.<\/span>
\nHow to manage the CPR procedure for the team leader.<\/span>
\nGiving the patient the necessary drugs during CPR.<\/span>
