The activities of this medical treatment convoy are part of a fruitful and constructive collaboration in humanitarian, medical, and community work, and Aswan University welcomes such medical convoys that bring joy and happiness to patients from Aswan Governorate and the governorates of southern Upper Egypt.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 17px; color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Al-Dahshouri,<\/span> Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, explained that the medical convoy activities began on Tuesday, July 2, with medical exams of the cases and preparation for surgical operations on Wednesday. The medical team will treat about (100) patients with ophthalmology and eye diseases, such as cataracts, glaucoma, and other eye diseases. The operations will take place in the university hospital&#8217;s Ophthalmology Department.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 17px; color: #000000;\">As one of the many treatment services offered by Aswan University Hospitals to patients in various areas of the governorate, <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Ghalleb,<\/span> the director of the new, specialized internal medicine hospital, emphasized the significance of the role that medical convoys serve for patients who are unable to receive treatment due to the difficult living conditions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 17px; color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Rabie,<\/span> the Surgery Hospital&#8217;s director, explained that the hospital is prepared to accept eye patients and will use all available resources to ensure the success of the medical convoy&#8217;s work. These resources include CT scans for eye patients and comprehensive medical examinations before their admission to the operating rooms, with complimentary testing and treatment provided thanks to the sponsorship of the Emirati side in the medical convoy&#8217;s operations.
