Today corresponding to 26th<\/sup> Feb. 2020<\/span>, the first day of the Fourth Annual Conference of Tropical Medicine and Gastroenterology Department<\/span> was held in cooperation with The Egyptian Association for Research and Training on Liver and Intestinal Diseases in addition to the department of gastroenterology and hepatology at Aswan Fever Hospital, it is entitled Basics of Hepatogastroenterology and Infectious Diseases<\/span>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n The event will continue until tomorrow corresponding to 27th<\/sup> Feb<\/span>. under the patronage of Prof. Ahmed Ghallab Mohamed<\/span> – Aswan University president, and Prof. Muhammad Zaki Al-Dahshoury<\/span>, dean of the faculty of medicine, under the supervision of Prof. Gamal El-Deen Esmat – Professor of gastroenterology and tropical medicine and the conference’s honorary president and Prof. Ehab Fawzy Abdo<\/span> – The conference\u2019s president and the scientific supervisor on tropical medicine and gastroenterology department Prof. Mohammed Al Badry, the acting chairman of Aswan university’s tropical medicine and gastroenterology department, in the presence of Prof. Hubert Blume – Professor at the University of Freiburg, Germany, and Prof. Abdullah Al-Obaidi<\/span> – the executive director of Aswan university hospitals, Dr. Ehab Imad – the undersecretary of the ministry of health in Aswan, and Mr. Ahmed Shaaban Suleiman – deputy governor of Aswan. The Conference is organized by the department of tropical medicine and gastroenterology, faculty of medicine, Aswan University.<\/span><\/p>\n The 1st day included many scientific sessions in the presence of a considerable number of Egyptian university professors and physicians from Aswan and other different governorates.<\/span><\/p>\n On the sideline of the conference, Prof. Ehab Fawzy granted an Appreciation Shield<\/strong><\/span> to:<\/span><\/p>\n Prof. Jamal Al-Din Esmat<\/span>, Prof. Muhammad Zaki Al-Dahshoury<\/span> – Dean of the College of Medicine, on whose behalf Prof. Abdullah Al Obaidi<\/span> – received the Sheild, and Professor Hubert Blume.<\/span><\/p>\n
