On Tuesday corresponding to January 9, 2024, the workshop at Aswan University was held on the activities of the accreditation of the immune changes diploma and their impact on immune diseases in partnership with 5 Egyptian Universities and 3 European Universities under the patronage of Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman<\/span> – President of Aswan University, which was held at the New Internal Medicine Specialized Hospital, in the presence of Prof. Mohamed Abdel Aziz Orabi <\/span>– Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Mohamed Zaki Al-Dahshouri<\/span> – Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aswan University Hospitals, Prof. Ashraf Maabad <\/span>– Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Mohamed Salah Aldein<\/span> – Executive Director of Aswan University Hospitals, and Prof. Ahmed Al-Atefi<\/span> – Professor at the Faculty of Science and Prof. Shazly Baghdadi <\/span>– Head of the Chest Department at Aswan University Hospital, in the presence of delegations from universities, headed by Prof. Elhamy Tarabis<\/span> – President of Damanhour University.<\/span><\/p>\n

”Othman”<\/span> Aswan University President, during the opening of the conference’s activities and after welcoming the guests of the workshop and audience, stated that holding the workshop on immune changes comes within the framework of the partnership between Aswan University and three universities from the European Union (France, Germany, and Greece) and five Egyptian universities (Al-Azhar, Cairo, Ain Shams, Damanhour, Aswan) to prepare new educational programs such as the immune changes diploma and their impact on immune diseases.<\/span><\/p>\n

His Excellency also stated that the university is working to host numerous scientific and medical conferences, which will help Aswan University rise to new scientific classifications, in addition to its track record of acquiring advanced scientific centers at the level of Egyptian, international, and Arab universities.<\/span><\/p>\n

Orabi<\/span>, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, stated that this conference is part of the university’s plan to develop the scientific research system and to advance the university’s educational and research systems by establishing numerous international partnerships in education, scientific, and medical research.<\/span><\/p>\n

Al-Dahshouri, <\/span>Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, praised the university’s collaboration with other universities in various medical specialties to improve the medical and health systems in university hospitals in Aswan and to provide distinguished medical service to patients in Aswan and the governorates of South Upper Egypt through the exchange of experiences between professors of immunology and chest surgery and young doctors.<\/span><\/p>\n

In this regard, a scientific project has been launched to prepare curricula for this diploma in collaboration with the participating universities, as well as equipping a distinguished laboratory for research and special studies in the field of immunity and communicating with experts and professors from Egyptian and European universities participating in the project, among others.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Baghdadi,”<\/span> the project coordinator and professor of chest diseases, allergies, and immunological diseases at the Faculty of Medicine, explained that the work team participating in the project from Aswan University visited Germany last year as part of the cooperation protocol between Aswan University and the participating universities, which was signed in 2020 to provide opportunities for graduates to join the immunology diploma program and strive towards completing their studies at European universities and earning a doctoral degree in the same scientific field.<\/span><\/p>\n
