{"id":17171,"date":"2024-01-15T08:35:53","date_gmt":"2024-01-15T08:35:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/med.aswu.edu.eg\/en\/?post_type=news&#038;p=17171"},"modified":"2024-01-22T08:40:45","modified_gmt":"2024-01-22T08:40:45","slug":"a-workshop-in-the-department-of-obstetrics-and-gynecology-on-treating-cases-of-uterine-prolapse-and-laparoscopic-hysterectomy","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/med.aswu.edu.eg\/en\/news\/a-workshop-in-the-department-of-obstetrics-and-gynecology-on-treating-cases-of-uterine-prolapse-and-laparoscopic-hysterectomy\/","title":{"rendered":"A Workshop in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department on the Treating Cases of Uterine Prolapse and Laparoscopic Hysterectomy"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 14pt;\">Under the patronage of <span style=\"color: #800000;\">Prof. Mohammad Zaki Al-Dahshouri <\/span>&#8211; Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, under the supervision of <span style=\"color: #800000;\">Prof. Abdo Saeed Ait Allah<\/span> &#8211; Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Sohag University and Scientific Supervisor of the Department of Medicine in Aswan, in the presence of<span style=\"color: #800000;\"> Prof. Nahla Waer<\/span> &#8211; Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Aswan, and <span style=\"color: #800000;\">Prof. Mohamed Salah Aldein<\/span> &#8211; General Director of Aswan University Hospitals, on the sidelines of the second annual conference of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, scheduled to be held on January 31, in partnership with the Middle Eastern College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in England, a workshop was held in the department over two days, January 14-15, 2024, on:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #800000; font-size: 14pt;\">&#8220;Laparoscopic surgical intervention to treat cases of uterine and vaginal prolapse after laparoscopic hysterectomy.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 14pt;\">The workshop discussed lectures by the following gentlemen:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 14pt;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Prof. Mohamed Abu Dabous<\/span> is a consultant in endoscopy in Germany and a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Tripoli, Libya.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 14pt;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Prof. Ahmed Saber<\/span> is an assistant professor of gynecological and endoscopic surgery at Benha University.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 14pt;\">During the workshop, several (5) cases were removed from the uterus, and the uterus was removed using the CESA and VASA networks by the laparoscope.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 14pt;\">This cutting-edge technology was introduced in the Arab Republic of Egypt&#8217;s Aswan Governorate.
