The convoy&#8217;s mission began on Friday, August 25, 2023, and lasted one week, finishing on Friday, September 1. It examined and checked patients for Zanzibar citizens with the help of a medical team that included: <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Prof. Mohamed Zaki El-Dahshoury<\/span> &#8211; Professor of Urology and Urethral Stricture at Aswan Medicine, and <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Dr. Ahmed Salah<\/span> &#8211; Lecturer of Urology at Aswan Medicine, as well as the Universities of Assiut and Sohag, as well as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 14pt;\">According to <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Al-Dahshouri<\/span>, Professor of Urology and Urinary Stricture at Aswan Medicine, the work of the medical convoy falls within the framework of Aswan University&#8217;s regional and international role towards the African continent&#8217;s external community, in line with the declaration of Aswan Governorate as the African continent&#8217;s capital of culture, economy, and Arab and African youth.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 14pt;\">Al-Dahshouri further stated that the medical convoy&#8217;s work, which lasted a week, resulted in the following:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 14pt;\">-For (300) cases, &nbsp;signing a medical examination.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 14pt;\">-Performing procedures on children with urinary tract abnormalities for a total of 55 children.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 14pt;\">-Performing procedures for people with urinary tract abnormalities for (35) patients.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 14pt;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Salah<\/span>, a urology teacher at Aswan Medicine, added that this international convoy is the fourth in a row in which Aswan University has participated on a regular basis to the state of Zanzibar, out of their belief in the importance of Aswan University&#8217;s role in the African continent, explaining that the convoy checked on patients after the operations.
