Under the patronage of  Dr. Mohamed Zaki Al-Dahshoury<\/span> – Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aswan University Hospitals, and Dr. Ashraf Maabed<\/span> – Executive Director of Aswan University Hospitals, today, Thursday, December 9, 2021, the Scientific Day of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology was held, under the supervision Prof. Abdou Saeed Ayatallah – Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Sohag University and Scientific Supervisor of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Faculty of Medicine, Aswan University, and Prof. Dr.\/ Mohamed Salah El Din Fahmy – Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Aswan Medicine, in cooperation with the Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care The surgical day was attended by Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Al-Azhary – lecturer of anesthesiology in Aswan Medicine, where the scientific day was organized by Dr.\/ Mohamed Ali Annan – lecturer of gynecology and obstetrics in Aswan Medicine. The scientific day dealt with several scientific lectures; Where present:<\/span><\/p>\n

Prof. Abdou Saeed Ayatallah – Scientific Supervisor of the Department, delivered a lecture entitled: \u201cThe Genetic Basis Behind Recurrent Miscarriage.\u201d<\/span>
\nDr. Ahmed Sameh Mostafa – lecturer, gave a lecture entitled: \u201cDealing with Covid 19 (Corona) during pregnancy\u201d to spread awareness on this vital topic.<\/span>
\nThe attendees included a group of faculty members, their assistants, doctors in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Aswan University Hospital and outside the university, doctors from the governorate and doctors of the Ministry of Health, and postgraduate students (Masters and Ph.D.).<\/span><\/p>\n

At the end of the scientific day; The department’s management has evaluated the technical and statistical performance of the department, in the implementation of the continuing medical education policy, and scientific meetings will follow every month to stand on solid ground and access everything new in this field.<\/span><\/p>\n
