{"id":16709,"date":"2022-01-29T18:57:49","date_gmt":"2022-01-29T18:57:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/med.aswu.edu.eg\/en\/?post_type=news&#038;p=16709"},"modified":"2023-08-09T10:12:14","modified_gmt":"2023-08-09T10:12:14","slug":"aswan-university-launches-its-second-medical-convoy-to-the-village-of-gharb-sohail-specializing-in-orthopedic-surgery","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/med.aswu.edu.eg\/en\/news\/aswan-university-launches-its-second-medical-convoy-to-the-village-of-gharb-sohail-specializing-in-orthopedic-surgery\/","title":{"rendered":"Aswan University launches its second medical caravan to the village of West Suhail, specializing in orthopedics"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 14pt;\">The Faculty of Medicine and Aswan University Hospitals organized a medical convoy in the village of West Suhail, on Friday, <span style=\"color: #800000;\">January 28, 2022,<\/span> in implementation of the directives of <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">President&nbsp; Abdel Fattah El-Sisi<\/span> &#8211; President of the Republic, which he launched within the framework of the <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">&#8220;Decent Life&#8221;<\/span> initiative to develop Egyptian villages.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 14pt;\">The convoy came under the auspices of <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Dr.Khaled Abdel Ghaffar<\/span> &#8211; Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman<\/span> &#8211; President of Aswan University, under the supervision of <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Prof. Mohamed Zaki Al-Dahshoury<\/span> &#8211; Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aswan University Hospitals, and <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Prof. Mohamed Mustafa Amin<\/span> &#8211; Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development, and <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Dr. Ashraf Mabad<\/span> &#8211; Director of Aswan University Hospital.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 14pt;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Dr. Othman,<\/span> President of Aswan University, confirmed that the university&#8217;s role in community service and environmental development comes from its interaction with its participation in all presidential initiatives, including the &#8220;Decent Life&#8221; initiative for the development of Egyptian villages. Its participation in serving the local community, by providing distinguished services in all disciplines by experts and specialized professors in line with the objectives of the presidential initiative.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 14pt;\">His Excellency added that under the directives of the political leadership to actively participate and work to highlight the role of university education in developing society and its development and expanding its knowledge and cultural horizons through the contribution of its institutions in graduating graduates who are able to develop their societies and work to treat street issues with specialized scientific and research solutions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 14pt;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Dr. Al-Dahshouri<\/span>, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, indicated that the medical convoy works within the framework and within the plan of the Faculty of Medicine and the University Hospital to provide medical service through various medical convoys to the areas most in need and work to increase the interdependence between the university, society, and the surrounding environment and work to reduce the burden on citizens and to activate the role of the university in caring for the people of the region through integrated convoys to the poorest villages.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 14pt;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Dr. Mohammed<\/span>, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, explained that the first purpose of the convoy is to provide an integrated medical service to patients.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 14pt;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Dr. Ma\u2019bad<\/span>, Executive Director of Aswan University Hospitals, stated that the university hospital had launched a medical convoy to the village of West Suhail before, specializing in ophthalmology and surgery, and it was after the visit of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, to the village.
