Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman<\/span>-Aswan University President opened the events of the Obstetrics & Gynecology Department Congress at the Faculty of Medicine, Aswan University, which was held on Wednesday corresponding to 3 May 2023 in Hurghada under the auspiece of Prof. Mohamed Zaki El-Dahshoury<\/span>-Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Aswan University, in participation of the Middle Eastern College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists Department, under the supervision of Prof. Mohamed Salah El-Din Fahmy- Head of the Obstetricians & Gynecologists Department at the Faculty of Medicine and Head of the Conference, Aswan University, in the attendance of Prof.Sherif El Shazly-President of the Middle Eastern College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists, Prof. Abdo Saeed Atallah-Professor of the Obstetricians & Gynecologists Department at Sohaj University and Honorary President of the Congress, in addition to representatives of several Egyptian Universities and an elite of doctors, scientists, and specialists from various countries of the world such as Spain, Portugal, England, and Turkey.<\/span><\/p>\n

”Othman”<\/span> Aswan University President, during his speech, stressed the importance of holding scientific conferences for Aswan University which aims to exchange experiences and keep up with updates of the scientific research in the discipline of obstetrics and gynecology department, and work to train future physicians to transfer experiences in order to develop the medical system at Aswan University Hospitals.<\/span><\/p>\n

”Shazly” the Middle Eastern College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists Head, cleared that the congress discussed the updates in the field of healing delayed childbearing and infertility as well as healing benign or malignant tumors, in addition to legislation advancement in the field of research papers, especially in obstetrics and gynecology department.<\/span><\/p>\n

”Attalah”<\/span>-Professor of the Obstetrics & Gynecology Department at Sohaj University and the Honorary President of the Congress pointed out the necessity of benefiting from the experiences of participating countries in the congress, led by Turkey, Germany, and Spain, and from the experiences of the participating professors from the faculties of medicine nationwide, emphasizing on the importance of focus on using technology in the field of following-up patient cases, adding that the congress included many workshops in the fields of infertility and intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI).<\/span><\/p>\n

According to “Salah,”<\/span> the head of obstetrics and gynecology at the faculty of medicine at Aswan University, this congress is the second consecutive one for the division, whose activities lasted for three days. He added that the congress’ main topics\u2014fetal abnormalities, the health of the mother and embryo, and how to use smart intelligence for quicker and more accurate checking and safe treatment; congress discussed controversial issues in the field of obstetrics& gynecology field as well as agreeing on conducting scientific research in the same specialization in the near future to strengthen the scientific and research exchanges between two parties and following-up all percentages of cesarean section to know reasons lead a mother to turn to cesarean section.<\/span><\/p>\n
