{"id":15424,"date":"2023-02-08T08:58:06","date_gmt":"2023-02-08T08:58:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/med.aswu.edu.eg\/en\/?post_type=news&#038;p=15424"},"modified":"2023-03-28T10:53:50","modified_gmt":"2023-03-28T10:53:50","slug":"the-gastroenterology-department-hosts-a-workshop-to-treat-obstructive-bile-and-remove-stones-from-the-bile-ducts","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/med.aswu.edu.eg\/en\/news\/the-gastroenterology-department-hosts-a-workshop-to-treat-obstructive-bile-and-remove-stones-from-the-bile-ducts\/","title":{"rendered":"The Gastroenterology Department Hosts a Workshop to Treat Obstructive Bile and Remove Stones from the Bile Ducts"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #333333;\">Under the patronage of<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> Prof.Mohamed Zaki Al-Dahshoury<\/span>-Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Dr.Ashra&#8217;f Mabad<\/span>-Executive Director of Aswan University Hospitals, <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Prof. Sahar Haasani<\/span>-Professor of the Gastroenterology and Tropical Medicine in Assiut, and the Medical Supervisor of the Department in Aswan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #333333;\">Within the context of the ongoing search that is provided by the Tropical Medicine and Gastroenterology Department at Aswan University Hospital, and its effective role to promote the health service which is provided to Aswan governorate people and its neighboring governorates; according to the activities of the global periodical day for the department and its continuous activities a workshop has been launched under the name of :<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #ff0000;\">&#8221;Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography ERCP&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #333333;\">-For the treatment of obstructive jaundice<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #333333;\">-Balloon removal of bile duct stones<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #333333;\">-Stent installation<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #333333;\">In which (6) obstructive jaundice cases have been treated, where the department&#8217;s doctors received the cases for the initial check daily from Thursday corresponding to February,2,2023 to Tuesday corresponding to February,7,2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Gastroenterology Department, 3rd floor, the New Internal Medicine Hospital where they debated their cases during those days.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #333333;\">The department&#8217;s efforts have culminated in the success of the workshop under the leadership and directions of Dr. Awni Ali Abdel Rahman &#8211; Head of the Department, and with the assistance of Dr. Mohamed Abdel Fattah &#8211; Lecturer in the Department, Dr. Mina Tharwat &#8211; Lecturer in the Department, the consultants and the medical staff of specialists and residents.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #333333;\">The workshop also hosted:<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Prof.&nbsp; Mohamed Taj<\/span> &#8211;<span style=\"color: #333333;\">Professor of General Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology and Endoscopy, Qena University.<\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Prof. Hassan El-Khatib<\/span> &#8211;<span style=\"color: #333333;\">Professor of General and Laparoscopic Surgery, Aswan University.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a class=\"fasc-button fasc-size-large fasc-type-popout fasc-rounded-medium\" style=\"background-color: #c22141; color: #ffffff;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/med.aswu.edu.eg\/en\/conferences\/\">Relevant Topics<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; Under the patronage of Prof.Mohamed Zaki Al-Dahshoury-Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr.Ashra&#8217;f Mabad-Executive Director of Aswan University Hospitals, Prof. Sahar Haasani-Professor of the Gastroenterology and Tropical Medicine in Assiut, and the Medical Supervisor of the Department in Aswan.
