Under the patronage of Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman<\/span>-Aswan University President, Prof.Mohamed Zaki Al-Dahshoury<\/span>-Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of Aswan University Hospitals, Prof. Ashraf Maba’d<\/span>-Executive Manager of Aswan University Hospitals, Under the supervision of Prof. Emad El-Din Hussein<\/span> – Professor of Vascular Surgery at Ain Shams University, Scientific Supervisor of the Vascular Surgery Department, Aswan University, and President of the African Federation for Vascular Science and Surgery, Aswan University.<\/span><\/p>\n

Under the logo of ”The Global Vein Week”,<\/span> the vascular surgery department-Faculty of Medicin-Aswan University-organized awareness campaign to provide free treatment for patients on Friday corresponding to March 10, 2023, at Aswan Railway Station Square, in participation with Dr. Ezz Al-Sadiq<\/span> – Adviser to Aswan Governor for Community Affairs and Social; participated in the work team the following gentlemen:<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Ismail<\/span> – Head of Vascular Surgery Department, Aswan University.<\/span>
\nProf. Said El-Mallah<\/span> – Professor of Vascular Surgery, Menoufia University.<\/span>
\nDr. Ahmed Khalaf<\/span> – Lecturer of Vascular Surgery, Aswan University.<\/span>
\nDr. Mostafa Ismail<\/span> – Lecturer of Vascular Surgery, Aswan University.<\/span>
\nWith the participation of: Dr. Ahmed Abdel Karim<\/span>, Dr. Marco Shehata Abd Rabbo<\/span>, and Student \/ Mustafa Mahmoud<\/span> – Faculty of Medicine.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Emad Eddin”<\/span> Professor of the Vascular Surgery Department at Ain Shams University states that within the framework of global vein week, to define the patient injured with vein diseases that lead to varicose veins or blue swellings in the legs, also skin ulcers appear on the lower legs and above and above the foot that causes pain in the foot or swelling during standing for long periods and these symptoms may lead to vein clots in the foot.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ismail<\/span>, head of the Department of Vascular Surgery, Aswan Medicine, added that the campaign’s objective is to educate patients with veins about the causes of preventing coronary artery disease, and vessel clots, such as: drinking plenty of water to avoid dehydration, movement, activity, and light sports, not standing or sitting for long periods, explaining that there are groups more susceptible to blood clots, which are severe dehydration, staying in bed for long periods, continuous diets without treatment, or imbalances in blood components.<\/span><\/p>\n
