Under the auspiece of Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman-<\/span>Aswan University President, Prof. Mohamed Zaki Al Dahshoury<\/span>-Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Ahmed Saed Abdul Rahman<\/span>-Head of the Conference and Professor of Anesthesia, Intensive Care and Treating Pains -Sohaj University and Scientific Supervisor of Anesthesia, Intensive Care and Pains Managment at the Faculty of Medicine, Aswan University, Prof. Adnan Al-Kissi<\/span>-St Thomas’ Hospital, England, Prof. Abdul Rahman Hassan<\/span>-Professor of Anesthesia, Intensive Care and Training Pains at the Faculty of Medicine, Sohaj University and Vice-President of the Conference, Prof. Essam Al-Din Muhran<\/span>-Professor of Anesthesia, Intensive Care and Training Pains and the Secretariat of the Conference, Dr.Tarak Sayed Hameda<\/span>-The Administrative Supervisor of  Anesthesia, Intensive Care, and Training Pains at Aswan Medicine, and the Supervisor’s Conference, in the attendance and honoring of Prof.Hamdie Hussein<\/span>-Luxor University President.<\/span><\/p>\n

”The 5th International Conference for Pains Management”<\/span> launched in Luxor over three days, where its activities began on Thursday corresponding to 16\/2\/202023 to 18\/2\/2023 in cooperation with the Department of Anesthesiology, Intensive Care and Pain Management, Faculty of Medicine, Aswan University, and Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital, England (UK) specialized in the treatment of pain in London.<\/span><\/p>\n

”Othman”<\/span>,<\/span> President of Aswan University, stressed the importance of holding international scientific and medical conferences to activate educational tourism and work to exchange experiences and upgrade the research system, which makes Aswan University maintain its scientific and research classification among various Egyptian and international universities.<\/span><\/p>\n

”Al-Dahshoury”<\/span>, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aswan University Hospitals, added that the Department of Anesthesiology, Intensive Care, and Pain Management, Faculty of Medicine, Aswan University, organized the 5th international conference in cooperation with Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospital, which witnessed successful participation from various Egyptian universities, and the conference included more than 30 scientific lectures divided into 5 discussion lectures to know what’s new in the treatment field. The conference included a workshop about using the x-ray for treatment and ways to mitigate its effects.<\/span><\/p>\n

”Al-Saeed”,<\/span> the conference president, explained that a group of distinguished professors from all Egyptian universities in the same specialty participated in the conference, in addition to the presence of a number of doctors from the Ministry of Health and foreign experts. Where the conference recommended many topics one of them is facing challenges in the field of treatment pain with the best modern methods to overcome it, in addition to developing the scientific research system to keep pace with the latest research in the same field, in order to upgrade the research system and exchange experiences between young doctors and professors in various Egyptian universities.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, attending the conference allowed you to earn (15) points for continuing medical education from the Royal College of Anesthesiologists in the United Kingdom and (22) points from the European Society for Continuing Medical Education.<\/span>
\nThis is the fifth scientific conference in a series of annual scientific conferences organized by the Department of Anesthesiology, Intensive Care, and Pain Management at Aswan University’s Faculty of Medicine in collaboration with Egyptian universities and international institutions in the same scientific field.<\/span><\/p>\n

The lecturers included a group of the most famous and most important doctors who are experts in the field of pain treatment from the United States of America, England, and India, in addition to the gentlemen of the academic staff who specialize in pain treatment in Egyptian universities. The conference dealt with:<\/span><\/p>\n

-New developments and challenges in the field of pain management.<\/span>
\n-In addition to the latest research in the same field.<\/span>
\n-On the sidelines of the conference; Workshops were held to anesthetize the peripheral nerves using ultrasound.<\/span><\/p>\n
